Meredith & Trevor got married this past summer at The Edgewater Hotel in Madion.

Meredith wrote in her first email to me: “We knew as soon as we saw the Skybar room at the Edgewater that it would be our venue. The views from the room are so beautiful. We want to have a small wedding, with just our immediate family and friends and this room was the perfect size.” It was so much fun watching their sophisticated style come to life! From her gorgeous gown by BHLDN, to the elegant centerpieces by Pages And Petals, everything was perfectly in-sync. They had a small celebration with family and friends, and we finished the evening together with sunset photos on a Lake Michigan.

When Savannah first reached out to me about shooting her wedding, I remember smiling ear to ear reading her entire first email! The way she wrote about Joey gave me such a warm lovey dovey feelings inside.

Savannah wrote “The first date I went on with Joey, I texted my mom in his car on the way home and said “Mom, I’m going to marry this guy.” He is the sweetest person, but not only to me, to anyone he comes across… and that is one of the main reasons I love him so much. Joey is the kind of guy that believes in celebrating monthly anniversaries.. and the way he loves is unlike anything I could’ve ever imagined in a man (and I mean that!!)”

Let me tell you, she wasn’t lying! The way that Joey looked at his bride was enough to make anyone believe in hopeless romantic love. He even sang to her during their ceremony to make their day even more special (insert gooshy mushy tears***). What they share, and how they love was evident not only between them, but also their family. I remember going up to her dad during the recpetion and saying “Can I join your family?!?” I hope you enjoy scrolling through their day, as much as we enjoyed capturing it!

Ohhhhh my where do I even begin with this dream of a wedding?!

Danielle & Jake first contacted me a little over two years ago, while they were at the start of wedding planning. We met at Colectivo on Lake Drive and just had that instant connection! They were both so excited to plan their future and the vibe was contagious. They aligned a team of killer vendors and it definitely paid off! Ashley from Midwestern Bride did such an amazing job bringing their vision to life, along with the help of the insanely talented Milwaukee Flower Company. I know this is a long blog post, but I encourage you to scroll through! We have some fun surprises below, including the most tear worthy first look between Danielle & her grandma, real life llamas (wearing floral garlands!), a Liz Martinez custom gown to die for, and just a whole lot of love (full disclosure, tears all around). Thank you, thank you, thank you Jake and Danielle for including us in the start of your forever! Video will be up within the next two weeks, so check back! List of vendors listed at the end of blog!

Jessica & Matthew celebrated their wedding day at one of my favorite venues in Milwaukee, The Wisconsin Club! I can still remember Jessica emailing me sharing her engagement story and crossing my fingers that they would choose me to capture their day.

In her words, “The proposal was amazing. He had created a fake invitation to an event at Atwater Park that some organization was putting on (also made up). It was a sunrise picnic at Atwater, featuring Blooming Lotus Bakery (my favorite allergy-friendly bakery!). I agreed to go as I am an early bird. My sister had been planning to hang out with me the night before and have a girls night, which I now know was completely for the purpose of making sure my nails were painted and I had a good outfit for the next day. Matt picked me up early the next morning, we went to the park and down to the beach. It wasn’t until we got to the bottom that I noticed a table set at the end of the boardwalk for two. It was beautifully set with place settings, a lantern with flowers, and champagne. We sat down and he read me a beautiful letter about how much I meant to him, then asked me to stand up and look in the basket next to the table. Inside the basket was a note telling me to turn around and when I did, he was down on one knee with the ring. I said yes and the rest is history!”

Their wedding day was no different! A lot of attention to detail, but more importantly, it was full of love & joy. Thank you two for allowing me to document your love story!
