Waterfront Engagement Session | Emily + John

December 30, 2021

Emily and John’s waterfront engagement session made for such a beautiful day. These two kept each other smiling the whole time, it is always so fun to hang out with couples and capture the natural joy and laughter that happens when they are around each other. And these two were no different! Emily and John are so in love and so excited to get married, you can see that in these photos. Engagement sessions are a lot of fun because it is so much less pressure than on a wedding day, there is no strict timeline and you’re not having to take photos in front of everyone you know. That is why engagement sessions are so important, not just to get beautiful pictures of you and your fiance, but also to help you get to know your photographer and get comfortable in front of the camera. Think of it as a low-pressure practice run.

I am in love with how these photos turned out! The sun was definitely on my side for this session. The sunbeams peaking through just made these photos that much more beautiful. Keep scrolling to see all my favorite shots!

KIND WORDS

“From our first contact with Autumn, she exceeded any expectation we had. Somehow, she continued to surpass and elevate beyond what we ever could have asked for? We truthfully feel that we were lucky to be able to work and share in the experience with her. Autumn was concise with communication and provided thoughtful guidance and input. She was a well of resourceful knowledge for the entire weekend. We found her to be so attentive to our needs and yet managed the delicate balance of respecting the needs of our guests as well. We have had so many of our loved ones comment on how helpful and wonderful she was to be around. We would recommend Autumn fully without reservation to everyone and then recommend her again to their mother.”
