Olivia and Mark’s Milwaukee engagement session on the waterfront was so fun to photograph. Engagement sessions are gratifying because my couples are always so excited for their future! For many, this is a long-awaited time in their lives and they are trying to savor every second of being a fiancé. Capturing this excitement is really one of my favorite parts of my job.

After walking down the dock at the waterfront we found some tall grass close by. It can be a bit of a sacrifice to lie down in the grass in the beautiful outfits you chose just for this day, but the photos are always so worth it!  I provide a relaxed energy that allows couples to have real moments together.

Some of my favorite photos in this gallery are the black and white ones. I always add black and white photographs into galleries because they can create such a beautiful contrast, especially with more colorful photos like these. It also is just such a classic feel to the photos and I love it!
